Fair FAMILY
The Fair Cemetery is located near Cowansville, Pennsylvania on Route 248 northwest of Kittanning, Pennsylvania. The turn to the cemetery is near the Sugar Creek Elementary School. The photograph, taken in 1991, was provided by descendant, Vonda Moore of Chicora, Pennsylvania.

First Generation
1. Elizabeth Fair was born on 26 September 1802 in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania. She died on 6 October 1891 in Sherrett, Washington Township, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania and was buried in October 1891 in the Fair Cemetery, Washington Township.
Elizabeth married John Ellenberger, son of Charles "Carl" John Ellenberger and Elizabeth (Elisabeth) Detter (Detler) in 1820 in Sugar Creek Township, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania. John was born on 31 January 1800 in New Hanover, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. He was christened on 16 March 1800 in New Hanover. John died on 22 April 1881 in Fairview Township, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania and was buried in April 1881 in the Fair Cemetery, Washington Township, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania.

2. Michael Fair was born on 17 July 1776 in Berks County, Pennsylvania and died on 10 August 1860 in Pennsylvania and was buried in the Fair Cemetery, Washington Township, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania. Michael married Mary Barbara Steelsmith.
3. Mary Barbara Steelsmith was born on 24 June 1780 in New Jersey. She died on 7 July 1870 and was buried in the Fair Cemetery, Washington Township, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania.
